These guys are great. They have everything a bank or other credit union offers plus personal service. Whenever I call, they know who I am by name and I can conduct any transaction with ease. They are well managed and have an excellent track record

Friendly staff, but they aren't the fastest at processing purchases on bank cards. It can take over a week for a purchase to show up and post to my account. I also have issues with my card declining at most retailers and restaurants. I could have a million dollars in the bank and they would decline my purchase. I also can't make my car payment electronically to Chase using this account because the funds never transfer. I also had issues with Sallie Mae not recognizing the bank as being in the U.S.A., but this has been resolved. I do all my major banking with larger banks. They do know me by name when I visit the bank!!!

This Credit Union is awesome. The staff is always very friendly. I can do everything online with their website that high end banks do, and they don't charge fees like large banks do. They have mobile banking and like 30,000 free ATMs. You can't find that with a bank. I have been doing all of my banking with them for over 25 years. (checking, loans, credit cards, you name it - their loan rates and credit card rates are the lowest) I even do most of my banking by email!! How many can say that with a bank?

For the past 20 years Star-Tech has been a great resource and very helpful in making financial decisions.
