Fantastic experience from start to finish. Envoy made me feel confident at every step along the way. As a first time home buyer there was a vast amount of information that I had to learn. It would have been daunting if not for the entire team that guided me through the process. Envoy was always available to answer questions and explain dense legal material in plain English and with great patience. They worked diligently and gave me easy to understand breakdowns of what processes were in motion as well as setting expectations for what would be happening in the near future. They worked professionally with impressive cohesion and organization. I have all of my documents in both physical and digital forms, organized and easily referenced. They worked at an incredible speed without skipping a beat. I never had to wait for an answer and I always felt like I was a priority. They streamlined the document signing process, they accommodated for my preferred methods of communication, they even have fun videos that help the novice home buyer better understand the process in a fun and engaging way. Michael Creed and his team made my home buying experience quite pleasant. I will recommend them to everyone I know who is in the market and challenge anyone to find a better team to work with, because they don't exist. I am in the process of purchasing a home, and Envoy was one of 4 lenders I reached out to. They were first to get back to me and great about answering all my calls and questions, even getting me multiple updated pre approval letters the same day I asked. At that point I considered them to be in the lead and most likely to get my business. From the beginning I was clear with them that I was shopping around getting quotes, that was all fine until I got an email saying they had already ordered the title on my property. I immediately reached out to them to ask why this was and the response was that they "thought I was on board with them". I made it clear I was not ready to move forward with any lender, all seemed ok. But in retrospect I should've given more weight to this than I did. The next week, when I had received quotes from other lenders that appeared to be ~$3K less in fees, I sent the offer to them to give them a chance to match the offer. I ended up getting a phone call in which Jason was attempting to be as condocending and emotionally manipulative of any salesman I have ever heard. He assured me that all other mortgage companies are liars and that they have fake quotes, that everyone else would leave my high n dry on my cross country move and that my entire life would be ruined. After he tried to give me an Econ lesso, he proceeded to explain that because of market moves it was not fair that Envoy quoted me 2 weeks earlier. When I offered to let him re-quote based on the best rate he could get that same day, he berated me claiming that I was "already locked in" and that I couldn't be re-quoted. Oddly, non of the 3 other institutions I delt with had any problem re-quoting me, nor did they try to scare me away from ever believing anyone but them. The ironic part was that their selling point from day one is customer service. Maybe that's the way they justify the extra fees they charge, but from the moment I realized they had pulled the title without my authorization, they had shown their true colors. The entire strategy suddenly changed to avoiding my questions, refusing to show me the monthly payment and cash at close numbers, and trying to emotionally manipulate me into using their company. They might be great at closing mortgages but the way they go about roping in customers is as sleezy and underhanded as any used car salesman you have seen in movies. Their scummy sales tactics are the reason I have to give them one star and recommend other people stay away. These guys will charge you a couple thousand more than other lenders and will use some pretty despicable tactics to keep you from comparing to their competitors.

Michael and I were first introduced a few years ago. He tried for over a year to connect with me in person. I figured with that much persistent follow up he would be good to refer out to my clients. I was right, he has taken care of all the buyers I send to him. He is very knowledgeable and with the help of his team they handle any issues before closing. All my closings have been smooth with the funds wired the day before closing. This is important when numerous transactions hinge on one another.

We just closed Dec 21 :) Of the five times I've had to obtain mortgages, this was by far the best experience. The reviews that note incredible communication with Michael and the rest of the staff are not exaggerated. There were times in the process where multiple emails passed back and forth daily, answering questions and even completing paperwork - so easy (even for an old guy)! Highly recommend this crew!
