BECU in Federal Way, WA

Went to deposit cash for my car payment. Waited in line for twenty minutes and when I tried to deposit it the machine would not take my cash, so I stepped aside to let a BECU employee know. They knew and said "oh we've been having issues with that one". There was no sign stating to not use that machine for depostis. What makes this visit a 1 star is that I asked if she could help me with the other machine and help me get to a machine without waiting another 20 minutes or longer because the line was even longer than before. She told me I had to go back in line again. I did my waiting, and it was their machine with issues, no sign to let its members know to use a different machine. I shouldn't have to wait again because it was their fault. It took an uneccisary 40 minutes out of my lunch break and I didn't even get my cash deposited.

A few years ago I applied for a car loan here to get my first car. I had no credit at the time being right out of high school and this was the one place that would accept me. Me and my mom initially went in and got things started, that's when the problems started happening. We would go in and bring what they asked and then they would either say "oh we can't accept that form of it, it has to be this" or "well we need this too." We ended up going in there at least 15 times because they could never get their act straight or their crap together. I was in tears several times because I was just so frustrated. So after that whole fiasco was finally over and supposedly worked out now comes my first payment, (I set up their auto deduct) and low and behold they have an issue with my payment being deducted and no it wasn't with my bank it was with them. So I had to phsically go in AGAIN and pay in person until they figured it out. Needless to say after all the hell they put me through I have come to hate BECU. Thankfully my car will be paid off in just a few months and I will NEVER use BECU for anything ever again.

Very very slow service. Be ready to wait at least 1 hour. With 4 associates here i would suggest going somewhere else. I like becu but this is sad.

I am an on line banker, not really sure what to do if I need more than the ATM daily limit, but I could just look it up. Very knowable staff and polite too.

Speaking of Electronic Payment… At the end of the year our condo association increased the monthly dues and I wonder if I need to do something with our electronic payment. Luckily I was being helped by Mr. Hugo M; he said if I gave voided check & authorization form to the condominium property manager then I don’t have to do anything since the property manager will change the withdrawal amount for me. However, if I set-up auto bill payment from our checking account then I have to modify the amount by myself. Note: Before I sat down with Hugo I called the BECU main number and its representative gave me confusing answers Not all BECU representative/consultant have the same knowledge and know how to explain thing into simple words & easy to be understood.
