Josh & Ashley did the bulk of the heavy lifting for my first mortgage. I was a ripe 27 year old without much of a finance background, so all this stuff was very new to me. I was eager to learn as much as I needed about the process of acquiring a mortgage and Josh and Ashley happily fielded all my conventional and bizarre 'what if' scenario-based questioning with patience and ease. I hear so much from others about how dreadful it is trying to get approved for a mortgage and how 'painstaking' it is, but that wasn't my experience at all. My financial situation wasn't very typical, being self-employed, I needed to jump through a few extra hoops and never once did they make me feel inept for asking what were probably really obvious questions. For me this goes a really long way. The moment a professional starts talking 'down' or takes a slightly condescending tone is the moment I cut all relations immediately.
