InTouch Credit Union in Carrollton, TX

Bad service. System is always down and they don't use online deposit. Makes it hard to get money in there. After deposit is finally made, they hold it. They hold everything. And don't expect an email or a phone call. After all, it's their money, not yours. Don't waste your time. Or money.

ITCU (formerly EDS CU) used to be good. Not any more. Avoid. Actually, RUN in the other direction. Better rates and better service elsewhere.

They arevery willing to get your business when you are financing a loan. You find out later they have an archaic website for doing transactions online, but you can shrug that off. When you go to pay off your car the nightmare begins. Their tellers are uninformed and will say anything to get you out the door. I came in to pay off my loan and close the associated accounts. (They make you get a checking account so they can charge 5$ per month). 1800$ later and a promise I'll have my title in 7-10 business days I find out after close to 20 business days thats not how it works. They kept my accounts open after I closed them and charged me a 5$ service fee then told me they weren't going to release the title until I paid that. The fee came 8 days after I closed out my accounts, or so the girl said. I had to come back to a branch and be told the activity from me depositing cash into the checking they forced me to take only to transfer as needed for payments on the loan as it's considered "activity" which means that I have to pay the 5$ they charged after i closed my account. You cant make this stuff up. I could care less about the 5$. Either way, my business and next car will be financed elsewhere.

I wish I could rate this business more than 5 stars! I worked with Jennifer and she truly went above and beyond for me! She is the true definition of exceptional customer service! I can't thank her enough for helping me get into a new vehicle large enough for my growing family!

I have been with ITCU for 5 years. I am currently on disability and ITCU will not allow me to deposit my check without 7 day hold. It used to be just a 2 day hold on my disability checks for the last few months. I hope branch manager who refused to work with me finds out the hard way how his decisions make life hard for his customers. It is hardship enough to be living on 50% of a salary on disability without this extra burden. I understand computer generated suggestions for holds but that is why he is there. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
