Resource One Credit Union in Carrollton, TX

I so much appreciate the courteous, friendly, prompt, helpful service I receive at this credit union every time I visit. I'm not a member, rather I use their shared service to bank with another credit union which is some distance away. But for their willingness to participate in shared services, I'd have to either mail checks to my credit union with the corresponding delays in being able to access money or drive 70 miles round trip during very limited hours (open only 4 hours daily) to make direct deposits. I can't believe the staff could be more attentive to my needs if I were a member of this credit union. If I close my account at my current credit union, rest assured Resource One Credit Union on Hebron would be my choice to receive my business.

The tellers try to prevent you from speaking to a personal banker and when they do, they clearly cannot help you. Tried to give me advice on a roll over 401k and it was clear he had no idea what he was talking about. Which resource one isn't good for investments but rather car loans , mortgages etc I moved to Plano recently and now I just go to the one in north garland much better and more friendly

Manager is awfully inept and unfriendly.

****NO STARS**** My debit card was compromised and R1CU allowed them to continue to make fraudulent charges instead of cancelling the card & account as I asked. If you want your hard earned money protected PLEASE BANK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
