Great bank

I love bb&t but the delay in the on banking is ridiculous. Having to wait 3 to 4 days just because the check is deposited online is not acceptable.

We got off to a bad start because of the $8 check cashing fee, which I think is ridiculous. The staff was snotty, unapologetic and unhelpful. The two employees kept speaking Spanish in front of me instead of English. Altogether I wasted 20 minutes with them without accomplishing anything. The whole experience was one of the worst I've had with a bank in quite some time. Thankful that BB&T is not my bank.

Mortgage coupons are not coming to us on time. Do they want us to be late with payments so we can incur fees?

ATM located here is adequate for my needs. Given what previous reviewers have pointed out is true, I would prefer to drive to downtown Raleigh, park on the street six blocks away, walk down to the Fayetteville Street branch of BB&T, in the rain, and know that my business is appreciated by those fine folks. Some suggestions to improve speed/quality of service at this location: apologize to folks waiting in line for delays (in English and Spanish), smile (trust me, it won't break your face... and make-up can only do so much to improve your countenance), have adaptable signage (like a three-panel paper tent with COMMERICAL DEPOSITS, DEPOSITS ONLY and ALL TRANSACTIONS) in front of each teller - I've seen it work wonders in other banks, complimentary coffee for those waiting on a banker or when the line is long for a teller, an OUT OF ORDER sign for the ATM (yes, it happens too frequently for it NOT to have one).
