Genisys Credit Union in Troy, MI

I have never had a bad experience with Genisys so can recommend it to anyone. Today I came in to make a withdrawal and my transaction was taken care of by Austin. Like all the people who work there he was very friendly and very efficient. Some banks make their employees call you by your first name but sounds like "insert name here" scripted. With Austin is very natural. He handled the business quickly and offered to print up a new member id card for me as my old one looked it had been chewed on. While I have had accounts in two other banks I actually enjoying going into the Credit Union branch. Thanks Genisys, Thanks Austin.

I was with Bank of America before, and every time I went I felt like I was walking into the DMV. Genisys Credit Union is always friendly, and personal. I feel like I've known these people forever. Nicole at the Big Beaver Branch helped me with my needs in less than 5 minutes over the phone, and she was amazing. So... her bosses should probably give her a promotion and a raise. ;-)

They never answer the phone at this location, call on any day they are open and they will not answer, doesn't matter if it's exactly when they open up or an hour before they close NO ANSWER. Also the atm machine is always out of money, or it will simply just take your card and not read it or give it back... the inconvenience is much more than it should be. I would recommend going to a different credit union

I have been with Genisys credit union for over a year and will be cancelling soon because of this location. They never answer the phone which forces me to call the royal oak location or even other locations such as long the one in clarkston. Also the ATM machine is horrible don't trust it. Service was good in the beginning. As time goes on I wonder how they are even open. Though they are not a bank they are almost just as bad as Talmer bank when they were still open.
