Flagstaff makes way to many mistakes, and treats their clients disrespectfully. They tell you one thing and when you go to do what the said to do and you find out you were just lied to by a supervisor. When signing new loan papers sent to you they are in a last name you have not used for 3 years and they had 3 copies of the marriage certificate scanned in my file but never changed anything on the account. The underwriters had to redo the whole loan all over. I would not recommend Flagstar Bank to anyone. I Have been put through so many mistakes on their part. You get a different answer each time you call. This is how they treat someone who has made all her payments on Time. Imagine what damage could be done had I not paid everything on time and not done everything asked of me.

I have my home loan through Flagstar. To say that this bank is awful and incompetent is to put it mildly. They are just very slow to react to any request you have, and most of the time they will assure you something has been done when it has not. They have a lot of people in their customer service dept who have no clue what they are doing, and it appears that they don't even communicate with each other. I have called them many time to send me monthly statements and they simply don't do it. They will even give you wrong information and then charge you for screwing things up when it was them that are at fault. JUST AWFUL
