M&T Bank in Greenbelt, MD

I went to M and T Greenbelt location about a month ago, i waited in the drive thur for at least 20 minutes, one teller greeted me and didi not return. When im called for assistance another teller told me to hold an additional 10 mins. I was so upset I went inside only to find 3 cutomers in the bank and 3 employees behind the window. I asked for a manager and was told there is currently no one acting as manager. I was told to return Friday to speak to a rotating manager. The young lady was argumenative and said when she came to the drive through window I wasnt ready. Very disappointing service!

This is the kind of place where the service is so poor the employees are so miserable it makes you want to break something. Today I came into this branch to cash a $75 check for which they took $5, because I am not an account holder. That's bullsh*t. I know i am so they asked for 2 forms of ID. I showed them my drivers license, a business check card, a personal check card, my auto insurance card, my AAA card and a library card... all with photos... along with my business card. I understood their policy, needing two id's from THEIR acceptable list, but at some point someone needs to use common sense. In addition they get a finger print. Unfortunately I didn't have my current auto registration in my vehicle. I had two expired registrations (although my tags are fine, I didn't have the current document). Nor do I walk around with my passport or social security card... I am self employed and do not have a work ID. T hese people were so unwilling to step back from their rigid and ridiculous protocol that it almost ruined my day. But then I looked around in that dreary miserable place and realized they were already getting what they deserved.

Great bank, the old bank manager was.awesome, havent been back to meet the new one yet.

Had one of the best customer service experiences here that I've ever had at a bank... walked in a half-hour before close needing to sort a lot of little details, and Mulugeta immediately invited me to a desk, and did detective work on certain transactions, looked across accounts, printing things out, etc. I felt bad about how much work it took, but she seemed genuinely happy to help.

This branch sucks dont go there.
