Associated Bank in Rockford, IL

I have banked at black hawk bank for some time but switched over to associated because i was away for school. WORST THING EVER!! The lied about promotions then never would return my phone calls the guy, greg, that started my account i have left 5 messages for not one was returned. It has been three months that my account was open and i wanted to close it after the first week. I will drive out of my way now to use my black hawk account.

This bank is completely unprofessional. I tried to deposited $500 into their ATM in October. The ATM malfunctioned and would not return my money or deposit it into my checking account. I called the 800 number on the ATM and they advised me to go into the bank during normal business hours. After talking to one of the reps at the bank, I was told to watch my checking account for a credit if it was found in my favor after the ATM audit. Two weeks later, I have the $500 I should've had in my account to begin with. I was out $500 for the first two weeks before I was credited and now in December they are saying I'm not entitled to the money that their ATM stole from me when it malfunctioned. Without any given notice, they withdrew $500 from my account. I'm incredibly frustrated and do not trust this bank. Nice job stealing from a college student.
