GTE Financial - Ocala 200 in Ocala, FL

GTE Financial, or GTE Fee as we call it, due to their excessively high charges for some things, has lost its way entirely. I made a rare visit inside the cr union today, and discovered that one how has to use a bulky computer screen to sign in. It was annoying and cumbersome. Further more, when the software asked me the purpose of my visit, nothing matched, and there was no option for "None of the above." It's a sad thing when a company makes its customers jump through hoops in order to do business with them. It should be the other way around - the company should be jumping through hoops for the customers. One of many reasons why we'll be closing out accounts there in the near future.

There is no more drive thru and now inside its automated tellers out of state. Wait time is ridiculous at 30mins or longer. It's such a hassle!

I've been with Gte well over a year, they really haven't been useful in no type of way. My bad, I apologize...I do like the fact that you can walk in and get a replacement card w/o showing your identification. Friday I noticed in the Ocala, Fl location you are now being forced to communicate with a woman on the screen in some God aweful machine. Feel sorry for our senior citizens, obviously they weren't taken into consideration at all! Saturday my debit card got locked bc my daughter forgot the pin number, now I can't unlock nor change to pin number. I think its crazy I can't make this change over the phone or online w/proof of my being btw I also have the useless app. Been w/o cash since Friday ruined my New Year Eve, my New Year Day, and now my Monday. Are you freakN kidding me closed on Monday? Why can't Gte be open on Saturday like most banks, Why can't they be like other banks and at least be resourceful? Need I say my couple of coins will be snatched out.... Ridiculous

Terrible place to bank. Well, it's a great place to bank, if you love having your money taken. There's a fee for everything: balance inquiries, deposits, and even closing your account! There's literally a fee for charging you a fee! I recommend hiding your money under your mattress, because it's safer and probably more easily accessible than trying to use this credit union.
