Florida Credit Union - Ocala Branch in Ocala, FL

Waited 45 min for service on my cd. Walked out and will put my cd another bank tomorrow.

This location is always so busy, the drive thru is often backed up and the lobby can be frustrating also. Often when I try to run in and deposit a check around 5pm the lobby usually has a line of people waiting with one sometimes 2 tellers working the line and it just doesn't seem to move very fast. I know the tellers are working as hard and as fast as they can but they should have more staff on hand in the latter afternoon as most people try and swing in after work.

This was my first experience having accounts in a credit union. It was great for a while, until I needed customer service. Never again! I have been nickel and dimed excessively with fees that were greater than the previous large institution I banked with in the past. Between the excessive wait times at branch locations, and excessive hold times with customer service, this has to be the most inconvenient bank service experience I've ever had. I would not recommend Florida credit union.

I applied for an Auto Loan with a not so impressive credit score and they gave me a chance anyway! My payments are low and affordable and I got the approval the same day I applied. They had a check for me the following day and offered to set up my payments at whatever time of the month was most convenient for me. Definitely worth a five star review! Thank you FCU. You saved me!

My husband and I opened two accounts without any problems. The women that handled our needs was professional and very polite. It was a welcome change from the regular banking experiences we have encountered previously. Thank you so much!
