My wife and I attempted to explain our current status and to cooperate with Aspen National Collections in order to make payments. The collectors were rude, abusive and they hung up the phone on my wife. When I spoke to them, I found them the be impatient and rude.

This company has TERRIBLE customer service. The employee Rick was always rude and demanding. He would make unnecessary comments about my financial status and not paying my bills. Of course, I reported his behavior as well as the company.

I don't even want to give this company one star. That is how horrible this company is at customer service. I belong to a timeshare rental company that takes my annual maintenance fees out of my credit card each month. I got a new credit card and forgot about this monthly payment so it did not get paid until I realized it was not being drafted on my credit card statement. By this time, my account was 60 days past due and my timeshare company sent my account to Aspen National Collections. I immediately called my timeshare company when I became aware of this error and paid them directly. They told me that they would remove the collection which they did ( I can see this in my account history) This however has not stopped this collection company from hounding me day and night even though my account is paid in full. They start calling my home at 7 am (apparently they are not aware of my time zone) until 9pm and they call 7 days a week They call my office night and day also tying up our business line and we run an appointment business and their incessant phone calls ( they called our business 8 TIMES yesterday and home 4 times, I've documented all of this on my caller ID) not to mention that when they do talk to me, they keep me on the line at least 20 minute which has hurt my business. I have contacted my timeshare company to have this stop and they assure me that my account is current and they have notified Aspen National about this fact but they have not stopped their harassment. It has been 6 LONG months of phone calls and I am at my wits end with this company. I have reported them to the better business bureau and gone through all my channels to exhaustion. I can not change my business phone number because I have had the same business phone number for 34 years. I am doing research on how to make this company stop their harassment especially since they are calling me in error and I do not know what else to do. If you are a company looking to hire Aspen National Collections for their collection services I would highly recommend you look at other ethical, legal who follow the FTC guidelines on fair and equitable business practices. Also, I would make sure they know about when they are allowed to call and the guidelines for calling business during their hours of operation and tying up business phone lines causing loss of customers and loss of productivity!! This is a horrible company!!!

The people who work for this Company are probably the Rudest I have ever encountered in Customer Service. They hung up on me and gave me a different figure that I owed from the Bill that was sent to me. Was 90.00 short and they called again and when I tried to explain why I sent in 90.00 less and that a Tina Warren had told me the different figure, they just said but you have the bill in front of you. I will file a complaint with my Time Share Resort of how they handle customers.

Had the chance to speak with Rick Miller (supposed manager) today. He was rude and ignorant and LITERALLY told me to borrow money to pay my bill. I will be in touch with the BBB and my sorry Time Share resort in order to lodge a complaint. There is no consideration shown to reasons why people are not able to make payments. But I refuse to have anyone disrespect me.
