The employees are just wonderful people. They take their time with you. No pressure sales. They make you feel comfortable whether you are an experienced gun owner or a newbie. They are full of information. The owner Steve Champion was such a pleasure to meet. He was so funny, approachable and informative. They sell a lot of Made in USA

They talked me out of a bad choice on my part and showed me a new model of another manufacturer (a firearm that has become popular) - very happy with the product, the service, prices, and support - I want to get another firearm and they've provided guidance for the firearm and scope. I'll purchase both, and ammo, extra magazines for the range, carrier, from them. They can order anything within reason that's not in stock. Great staff.

Great store, they have a wider range of inventory than anywhere else, even more than RK! Good selection of used firearms, too. Great new stuff, all at what looks like to best prices in the area. Say "Hi!" to Steve while you're there - he's the owner, and a heck of a nice guy. He and his staff are all extremely knowledgeable, helpful, polite, professional, and NOT condescending at all. Some gun store staff seem like they try to make you feel stupid when you come in - that's not the case here. Another plus is this: It seems that they ALWAYS have the ammo I need, whenever I go there. An amazing array of other items, too - protective body armor, 50 Caliber uppers that fit a standard AR15 lower, and on, and on, and on. Top gun store in Hernando County, in my humble opinion!

If you put an item on layaway and for some reason you change your mind they will charge you a restocking fee of 20%-30% of the cost of the item. So if you put an item on layaway that cost $1000 and you put $300 down and for some reason you can't buy the item your not getting the money you put down back. (Scammmm) I personally will not buy anything from this place because of their crazy restocking fee and their way over priced guns. Their is several other gun shops in the area with a lot better prices. Their salesmen are friendly but not enjoyable to be around and definatly not knowledgeable about guns. Just my 2cents

Didn't do my due diligence so I paid $300 more for the AR-15 at American Gun than other sellers are asking. My bad. The owner responded I had it on lay-a-way for two months without any charges. Isn't that is what lay-a-way is all about? And what does that have to do with anything to begin with?? Except perhaps I paid almost twice what this gun is worth. The exact gun is being sold for $500 on another site and not for the $859 I paid. So how custom is it? I'm new to guns and the only reason I bought this at the time was because the salesman assured me "we don't hike our prices like other dealers". This has nothing to do with your service as that was great. It has everything to do with price. In fact one reviewer stated you reduced the price of a gun by $500 for him. Why??? Could it be you were asking twice as much to begin with as with me?
