The RJ Baxter Team was simply amazing. They were refreshingly responsive and accessible. I've been a Realtor for almost 24 years and have never experienced this kind of service from a lender. When we had an issue with an appraisal and were working through it, Todd would take calls late into the evening. They never lost focus on the client and resolved our appraisal problem perfectly. They got us a pre-approval letter well after business hours on the day we wrote our offer and the listing broker on the other end was astounded. We are in a very competitive market and it's important that the lender is engaged. I will highly recommend the RJ Baxter Team to future clients and fellow Realtors.

We started the mortgage process with a different mortgage company but they wouldn't lock in our rate and we ended up getting a higher rate just a couple weeks before closing on our new house. We decided to check around to see if we could get a lower rate and found the RJ Baxter Team. They locked us in at a lower rate. They worked quickly and provided excellent communication along the way. The entire process with them could not have gone smoother. We received notice in the morning of our closing that the Title Company had received the wire transfer of funds from the mortgage company and we were set for our afternoon closing. But we are so at peace that buying this home will be the center of a happy life for decades to come. Knowing we also got a reasonable mortgage gives us even greater peace of mind. We were also grateful the loan process wasn't more arduous than it needed to be. In fact looking back the financial part was very transparent and easy to navigate. The online tools were at least as good as Quicken Loans who we started out with. It was easy to review, understand, sign and even see where we were in the process. Their people, especially Heather were professional but also honest and incredibly helpful with getting us through a few tough spots with relative ease. You were also incredibly fair to credit us for the difference in the high appraisal cost. Things were going as expected and it wasn't until our agent pointed it out and it is something we would have likely never noticed because they didn't make a big deal out of it. They just said "oh well the costs are higher than we thought" and made them the same as the estimate. Your honesty and expertise on what is reasonable was great to rely on.
