Public Service Credit Union in Fort Collins, CO

I have been a member for 22 years. Every branch that I have done business with has been a very good experience. The employees are very professional and some of the nicest people you could meet. Once they know you they remember you by name. The loan department is very efficient and painlessly make request happen quickly. If you are looking for great service with a home town feel, go to Public Service Credit Union, you will not be sorry! Theresa

Since Norlarco switched to PSCU, service has been horrible! You can't get anyone on the phone and 20+ minutes to deposit a check in the drive through is unacceptable!!!

Public service credit union as a whole is an excellent company, but there's a teller here that is very very nosy. I'm saving for a big trip, and to ensure I don't spend anything, I put what I want to save in money orders rather than a savings account because I can access it too easy if I do it that way. She had the gall to ask me what I was doing with that money! And asked my boyfriend the same thing when he did it! Tellers need to just do what the member wants and not ask why they do it. It's none of their business.

Very slow waits, very unprofessional staff. I'll take the extra time I would have wasted waiting and go across town to another PSCU.

I moved to town a few months ago and wanted to open a new business/personal checking account. Having dealt with big banks my entire life I thought I'd try a CU instead. I had read several bad reviews but thought : its the internet, maybe they'd be wrong. As it turns out, the complaints about long wait times and poor customer service are unfortunately accurate. I attempted to open an account on two occasions. The first occasion (08/07/2016) involved a lackadaisical counter girl and a long line. After waiting in said line I was informed that no one was available to assist me in opening an account this day and to come back another time. My second attempt (08/21/2016) was met with very similar circumstances, an apathetic counter girl and a long line. After waiting in line for 15 minutes I was informed that the only person who could assist me in opening an account was currently with one person, had another waiting, and that I should expect at least an hour wait before being seen. This place wasted plenty of my time, please be smart and don't let it waste any of yours. There are other fine credit unions in town where your service will be taken seriously by staff who treat customers with respect and care.
