Everything was handled very professionally. When my VA loan was funded with an extra $25,000 cash payment, I was immediately able to pay off a pending remodeling contract with the money that was sent to me before the contract was even going to start. My credit rating is now excellent and I owe it all to John Presto and Goran Cvetic who worked with extreme diligence and an attitude that any obstacle could be conquered to obtain the VA loan. My new loan reduced my 40 year mortgage to a 30 year mortgage at a 3.5% rate and the $56,000 balloon payment which was due at the end of the term was absorbed. I'm happy with originator and loan processor. Dealing only with 2 people throughout the process. They gave me the best rate/reverse points combination (that's what counts most after all). There were a couple of bumps along the road, but this was something I can leave with. Make sure you understand that your rate can be higher/reverse points less if your appraisal comes such that loan amount is more than 75% of the home value. Also the refinance deal by default may require some small debts that appear on your credit report to be closed as part of the deal. This came as a surprise for me.

I am very happy with my experience with loanDepot. They gave me the best rate with low fees, yet still managed to provide very professional service. Sean was very straight forward and personal. There were no bait and switch tactics like some of the other loan refinance companies out there. Once the application was processed, it was handled by Danh. We didn't always get a quick reply, but he worked through the irregularities of the loan payout. Overall, great experience. I figured we saved $25,000 over the life of our loan, even though we already had a low rate.

Ryan was outstanding...trustworthy..charming..helpful. I was apprehensive at first because I have never worked with a loan department other than a bank. Ryan presented information to me and put me at ease. He answered every question and again put me at ease. He was personal. professional and efficient...he always answered his phone or got immediately back to me when I had a question...I would highly recommend loanDepot and especially recommend Ryan. Kathy was also fabulous...she was efficient & professional. I felt very comfortable with her and trusted her.

Carl V. was very informative. Everything was handled professionally, very upfront with loan estimates, costs and fees. Everything was legit- the recorded call to confirm my acceptance of the rate-lock, all the right questions (legally required, etc.) were asked. This is not a deceptive organization and nothing was kept hidden from me. A local appraiser was arranged for, a local notary was arranged for....all-in-all, an organization that seemed to "have all their ducks in order". It also helped that I was prepared to convert whatever docs they required of me to e-format and promptly provide them with all info they needed of me.
