I had a bill from a third-party medical lab go to collections, despite never getting the bill from the lab or my doctor. After receiving a call from Americollect and a voicemail message from an actual human, I was able to go online and use their real-time chat service to pay my bill within ten minutes. Easy and friendly service, for an unexpected and unpleasant occurrence. Cole, the customer service agent on the online chat, was extremely helpful in answering my questions and confirming what the debt was for.

Received bill for service 6/30/16. Problem? I haven't been to that group since 3/16/11. Six years ago! Called provider who showed I have zero balance and gave me the the date of service and said they have no record of sending me to collection agency. When I called Amercollect, I was told I have to show proof that I wasn't there. Excuse me? How do I show proof for something that never happened?? Was rudely told that I had 30 days to provide proof or it will go on my credit report. Said "Have a good day" and hung up on me! Now what do I do??? This is ridiculous!

Best ever collection agency. I have been trying to work out a BIG medical bill since 2014 and I didn't owe it. I was beyond frustrated between the insurance company (which told me I didn't owe it) to the hospital that sent my BIG medical bill to Americollect. This is the first collection agency that listened to my situation and helped me resolve my problem that I have been trying to work out since 2014. Unbelievable!!!! Americollect got involved and it now is finally worked out. I owe nothing. It took them a very short time to help me out and Matt called me to tell me its resolved. Great people (employees) to one very awesome supervisor named Matt. I give them a 10 all around....
