Our loan officer we dealt with was fabulous and did her best however, do NOT attempt to use your VA loan here if your are a recently discharged veteran! My husband makes more than enough income for the loan we applied for but their VA underwriter will not accept ANY job income unless you've worked there for a year or more. If my husband was (honorably) discharged from active duty this last December, how exactly is he supposed to have more than a year's employment with his job?! Way to punish a veteran for serving in the military and not working at his now current job for the last year...
