I would highly recommend Barnhart Jewelers. The service was excellent. I am not that knowledgeable about diamonds, but Mr. Barnhart took the time to explain the various aspects to me as well as showing and explaining to me the grading charts. He also allowed me to look under his microscope at various cuts and types of diamonds I was interested in and pointed out the differences. I found the perfect ring at an extremely affordable price and was given a Certificate of Appraisal. I think you will be happy if you choose Barnhart for you jewelry needs.

I went in to look for a ring and saw my grandma's ring which we thought had been stolen. When I asked him about it and told him it belonged to me, Mike Barnhart became agitated and asked me to leave. I even offered to buy it just to get it back into the family at that point. Now that he is aware the ring might have been stolen, I believe he has not been ethical about it, one would have to wonder how many other items and situations he has been unethical about. It is my opinion that he is not a reputable dealer and cannot be trusted.

Went in to do a little horse trading with silver for gold. Mike was extremely fair and I feel we both got a good deal. Ended up also with a very nice Citizen Eco-Drive watch. They also have some very nice and competitively priced jewelry. I would highly recommend this establishment for anything to do with jewelry or selling/buying precious metals.
