HomeStreet Bank in Tukwila, WA

Awesome customer service. At a time when all the big banks are getting the bad PR, it is nice to give recognition to a small bank to give another reason to switch. I have just started using their BillPayer service. My water company does not take electronic payments, so billpayer cuts them a check and mails it. Well, I screwed up the address, and miss enter the PO Box by a digit. I did not realize that until I got a pass due noticed from the water company. I called the 800 number for Homestreet and confessed to what I did. She verified that the check had not been cashed, and would take care of it for me. I just got a call back, about 36 hours later. They have stopped payment on the original check, re-cut a new check, and get this, talked to the water company and got them to waive the late fee! Can you imagine one of those "big" banks doing all that? Big kudos to Homestreet Bank!

Awesome bank! Very personable and highly recommend!! Best bank in town. Autum is very professional and very pleasant to deal with and Jim was very welcoming and nice.
