Sound Credit Union in Tacoma, WA

This is a regular credit union- okay service at the counter though the drive through is usually slow. The usual services and promos. After three years they still never recognize me. Most notably, the bill payer service this credit union employs is the WORST IN THE HISTORY OF BILL PAYER SERVICES. From the merely annoying- like being able to search payment history four ways for essentially only a 30 day window no matter which you choose, and the fact there is apparently no option for sending E-checks though many businesses accept them... to the alarming. As in, "checks" written from bill payer don't show up in your checking account as debits until they are "cashed". You must click through several windows to see when a check was sent and then be sure to mentally deduct it from your checking balance to make further plans for your funds. So it's kindof like in the old days when you forget to write down a check in the register, use the money for other things, then the check bounces. For me, the whole point of using bill payer is to have balance info up to date at a glance- if you value this, too- find a different credit union.
