This should help so many of you out....Merchants Acceptance Corperation is in the practice of commiting fraud and forgery on an daily basis...upon doing employment verification the literally cut your signature out of other documents and paste it on a piece of paper in order to collect information from your employer...Now with the amount of garnishments that they are certainly taking from people who more then likely struggle to feed their children and make ends meet, i think that this information maybe of service in future court cases in all states alike...Im sure it would be illegal in all states and youd be likely to have that garnishment removed if persued...this is blatent disregard for your privacy and the law and completely lacking in integrity for any company...Also all of your private information is comprimised by sending your credit application with all of your sensitive personal information is sent daily to employees private cell phones as Merchants has ZERO regard to the safety of your personal information. FIGHT their court cases...have your complaints sent in to the attorney general and any other entity that can be of service!

Im shocked that these guys are still a company and opened at all! Id love someone to call me and make things right but Im going to court with them cause no matter what and how much I have in my account my card gets denied and I have to pay 35 on top of my bill that is already 57 almost twice as much as I should have to pay for my kirby ! I would have NEVER got a kirby if I would of know Id have to deal with these guys merchants acceptance see you in court .... sorry to everyone having issues with them none of us deserve this !

Since this review, I received a phone call from Jared and he was very helpful and courteous. He was willing to work with me and remove the NSF fees and work this out. I have given them 3 stars for the effort in making things right. Horrible company that just wants to rip you off. I am having them send me an itemized statement because they are charging me multiple fees at $35 a pop for declined automated payment (which I did not want to set up, but was required to get financing), when each time I was still making the monthly payment via check. I just found this out and now have over $300 dollars of FEES!!! They are not willing to go back and look at all the times I had paid and will not remove any of those fees. I strongly urge anyone to stay away from this company, they are scammers! I wish I didn't have to give them even one star....

I'd give a zero if I could. They called and told me I had a past due balance of $150. I paid it three days later. I called a week later to get my total balance owed on my account and was told I was still $150 past due. None of them know what they are doing,and the staff always contradict themselves. They have said for years that they would have online payment as an option and didn't get it up and running until recently. There's nothing professional about this company. I wouldn't recommend going through them for anything unfortunately.

No where on the contract is there any contact information for this company should you wish to utilize your right to cancel within three days! Never deal with Don Davis if you can avoid it! After having ONLY Platinum Elite's mailing address and NO WAY POSSIBLE to contact Merchants acceptance corp., 2 letters sent to Platinum which were returned, I was called by Don. I started off being grateful that someone finally contacted me... Only to find out that that he was just another in a long line of scammers with this entire situation. He went on about how I signed a contract, which I did, yet at that time I was not aware that I would have to face a life altering medical situation within days of signing said contract. All I wanted to do was return the very expensive UNUSED merchandise and was told it was not possible! I choose to save my life instead of leaving my children a vacuum cleaner in my will... He didn't care nor have anything to say other than I signed a contract. No wonder this company isn't listed with the BBB! They don't have a grade low enough for a company like this! You know what Don Davis? The only thing you said that was correct was that I signed a contract. You mocked me because I repeatedly said I signed in good faith, only to find out shortly after the fact that I had a medical issue that I had to pay for... Not only was I trying to give back perfect and unused merchandise that could easily be sold again but I have had to give up my vehicle and anything else that I could to pay for MEDICAL EXPENSES!! I truly hope you never have a medical emergency which you have to pay for because what goes around comes around and you will be treated just like you treat others and you will find its not a very good experience.
