If I could give 0/5 stars I would.. CVFCU is the only company that refused to be sensitive or caring during a time of tragedy: My Father passed away, my mother was devastated, and I contacted all her banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions to close account and settle affairs. CVFCU's conduct during the 2 phone calls I had with them and the one call my mother had (Nicky was the only rep who's name I wrote down) was so inhuman that it actually brought my grieving mother to tears. I'm not one to write a negative review on a company, but multiple conversations proved to me they don't give a d___ about their member's and only about making a buck. Stay away!

I'm not to type to leave complaints online, and I'm not sure if I just got spoiled from my other bank or what (I've had 3 other banks. and these protocols seem unnecessary and unusual.) But I'm a new customer. I sadly had to leave my primary bank. The website is awful. The login protocol is awful. There's no customer support during the "off" hours to assist you as to WHY you can't see your bank account. In order to activate your new card you have to go to the drive thru then wait 24 Hrs for it to be activated. It sucks when you're going out of town that night and need a tank of gas. #ridiculous
