We financed a house with Wells Fago,in Dec. Of 2009. Joe Slagell was excellent! in fact because of him Wells Fargo is my preferred mortgage company. I have since bought another home in CT, I did not even check with other mortgage companies, Wells Fargo also holds the mortgage on that house. I am also refinancing this week with them on the first house I bought. hands down the best mortgage company I have ever done business with. Thanks Joe for taking the extra mile

Joe Slagell works here and he is very down-to-earth. You know he is on your side. He is competent and I knew he would get us the best deal. He keeps his promises, has realistic deadlines, and gives it to you straight up so you don't have surprises. In truth, we tried to refinance with him, and after going over the numbers, it made better sense not to. He was fine with that. I felt like any other mortgage lender would have given us the hard sell no matter what.
