Deseret First Credit Union in Orem, UT

I have been with Deseret First Credit Union for about two years now. Sure the tellers may be great, but the administration departments of this credit union has made my time with the credit union a miserable two years. In my opinion there is no difference between Deseret First Credit Union and the typical loan shark. As of this month of January I plan to move all of my accounts including my business account that flows an average of 200,000 dollars a year through my accounts. Good luck Deseret First Credit Union with your immoral business practices.

I have been a member of DFCU since 1982. Over the past several years, the approach to technology and customer service has taken a very serious downturn. The most recent update to their website was poorly designed with very little work towards best practices. There are several areas where data is placed in tables where it does not fit, or that it is not relevent to the data you are currently looking at.....the main Dashboard is not really a dashboard at all, but rather a place DFCU uses to promote itself. Menus are jammed together in an in-cohesive way, and are not really designed to relate visually, and the whole website seems to lack the basic idea of making things simpler. Cannot imagine how this got rolled out without someone mentioning just how poorly it is designed. Finally, do not bother calling and complaining, if they were looking for feedback, they would have beta tested the interface before they rolled it out. I already opened a new account with another CU.

I LOVE DESERET FIRST CREDIT UNION!!!! Everyone that complains on here blow my mind. It's always the people that complain that don't seem to own anything of their own in the first place haha. Don't get a loan if you're going to complain! As for managing money....you have to remember that they are a business and are looking to make money too! Banks don't run for free my friends.

Come 2017 i will have been with DFCU for 3 years and in all that time i haven't had an issue. I often have ended up losing my card and cancelling and obtaining a replacement was easy, over the phone or in person. I have had a great experience. I look forward to more years of a good relationship with this bank. :) P.S. Experiences with banks will be different for everyone as no one has the same identical situation.

If I could give them a zero I would worst loan I could've ever gotten worst service in the world as well!! The manager there sucks she has the worst Attitude in the world she has a resting b*itch face as well. They took money out of my other back account twice not only that but would get me in to the negatives and made me pay the overdraft fees at my other bank ! Thank good I have uccu that is wonderful and very helpful! When I was reviving the 11.4% in desert firs I could've been receiving the 9% interest with uccu !! Never again will I work with this bank. Not only that but your religion matters here cause if you ain't lds you get a worst interest !
