Texans Credit Union in McKinney, TX

This drive thru is always so slow. It's like 1 teller runs the 2 drive thru lanes and the lobby. It took 13 mins to complete my deposit of one check. When I arrived their were two cars in the open two lanes.

The middle eastern man at the front desk is rude and obnoxious. He doesn't greet you, he barks at you from behind the counter asking what you want. What's the point of filling out the sign in sheet if I'm just going to be forced to yell it out to the entire room. I have no problem with the credit union itself, but you would think they would have someone more welcoming at the front.

Been banking with TCU for over 2 years - no major complaints. Being that they are a Credit Union and not a "BANK", they seem to be more personable with people and their activities. It sometimes may take a few extra moments to get transactions done. They seem to do better or about the same as going to other local businesses in the area. Drive-thru: try going through any drive through business and you will probably experience about the same type of service, and with fraud all around, it nice to know they take the time to ensure accuracy. Walk-in service: I've never had a problem with getting good service when I respect the efforts they provide for every customer. Most people in a hurry may see this as poor service, but I've been banking with banking services for over 40 years, iwth a lot of different BIG banks, and the one thing I've learned is - if you give respect for the people trying to do their jobs well and accurately, then you'll most likely get appreciation in return

The drive thru at this location is almost always a painful experience. It doesn't appear that they have a regular teller. Unfortunately this is the closest branch near me and my husband has not yet gotten around to changing banks. Such poor customer service. Today, yet another poor experience. AS THE ONLY CAR IN THE DRIVE THROUGH, it took almost 20 minutes for me to deposit my check and get some cash back. I called them twice. The second time the first teller answered my call picking up an envelope on the counter in front of him holding it up for me to see asking why I sent my money back? I told him how long I'd been waiting and that nothing has come out. It was then sent. If this was a one time experience, I'd give more grace, but at this location, I've come to expect my time to be wasted.
