Inconvenient hours....phone lines are never answered....email unavailable....

The personnel is very friendly but I have had the worst experience with the checking account.

Some STFCU employees act as if they are doing the customer a favor by answering the phone OR waiting on them. The numbers I called don't have any voice mail option when no one answers - endless ringing. The email on the business card for one member service representative is invalid/undeliverable AND there's no voice mail opportunity on her extension. The loan underwriter wouldn't consider my liquid assets, e.g. stocks, bonds, 401k, or dividend income when considering the loan app, OR my excellent credit score; unwilling to lend ANY AMOUNT without collateral I have 3 other loan approvals for the exact same loan ALL from institutions which DID NOT ASK for ANY collateral.

I HAVE CALLED CONTINUOUSLY FOR DAYS AND I CAN'T GET ANYONE TO ANSWER THE PHONE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT SOUTH TEXAS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION IS HORRIBLE, NEXT TIME I WILL BE SURE TO GET MY ACCOUNT SOMEWHERE ELSE! I GAVE IT A 1 STAR ONLY BECAUSE, IT WOULDN'T LET ME POST WITHOUT ONE.
