Check 'n Go in Edinburg, TX

Cashed my check there yesterday and was given a stupid prepaid Mastercard, which first off I didnt ask for was told I could take the card into an IBC bank and at first I thought ok? No big deal so today when I went to take the money out of the card I was told I couldnt because it doesnt have my name on it, so I called cash n go and was told I needed some paper to give them, which I wasnt informed of, total nightmare for what should have been too simple, take my check, in cash it, walk out with money. Lesson learned never going back

They leave you uninformed. They do not inform you of the fees, or how the check change is going to be. I went and the girl said nothing until the very last. She gave me a portion of the money in cash and another in a card. She said she did not have all of the money in cash. She knew before she was going to cash my check that she was not going to have all of the cash. It was a headache to get the money from the card especially from Wells Fargo. Bad experience from both.
