Southern Community Bank in Murfreesboro, TN

Great local bank with amazing staff. I always enjoy stopping by there. Although the bank is small in size they offer the same things the larger banks offer and do it with a smile. Plus no ATM fees!

I've always had great service with this bank and would have always given them an excellent rating.....that is UNTIL I had a situation where I had some unauthorized charges on my account. This happened twice within a two year period. The first time there were no problems and the bank quickly resolved the matter. However, the second time, although they did resolve the matter, they then informed me after three weeks of waiting that I would NOT be reissued a debit card. WHAT???? They said that since I had someone hack into my account twice that upper management decided to not reissue the card. What good is it to be able to dispute charges if you're going to penalized for it? I've been a good customer, kept a fairly hefty balance, never had an overdraft, a bounced check, nothing. And they decide I don't deserve a debit card. Well, Southern Community Bank, I will be closing my account and opening up one with another bank who values my business and won't punish me when life happens.

Absolutely love this bank. They have always been good to me very friendly people Tammy I think that is her name at the drive thru has always been super sweet to me
