Submitted paperwork for a refinance on my current home. I was told it would take two weeks to hear back. Didn't hear back after 2.5 weeks, so I called to inquire. I was told my file was on Mike Watson's desk and that I would hear back very shortly. I never heard back. TWO MONTHS LATER I receive an e-mail from Benchmark Mortgage informing me that my file has been closed due to inactivity. I respond to this e-mail asking for an explanation and, as I suspected, no response. I did get a call a couple of months later from their office asking if I would like to work with Benchmark again. As you can guess, I declined.
