United Finance in Seaside, OR

I have been using United Finance for several years and I am very pleased with the way they treat me in the office. They are courteous, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Matt is informative and has always been available to answer any questions I may have in a professional manner. He and his staff are highly rated in my book and I will use United Finance again and I have told others about your company.

All of the employees at United Finance; I am very happy with. They are quick to help someone in need, and are a very friendly group of people (even when you pay with debit haha). I will refer, and am very happy that they were there when needed. I was getting ready to leave on a big trip, and Matt went out of his way to make sure things went into my favor. I am very grateful thank you.

United finance is great! Matt is extremely helpful, patient, and you can tell he honestly cares about the best thing for you! We've had 3 car loans through them over the past 3 or 4 years and i know i can always go to them for any financing i need. All the staff is awesome!!! I always love coming and seeing all of you!!! :-)

We would have formerly given this company at it's Seaside Branch, at least FOUR STARS when MATT was the manager. He was a good listener, accommodating, flexible in lean times, had many alternative suggestions for different situations and conditions, ergo we went to him for two separate loans, the current one as repeat clients due to his good and very personal, polite service. His former secretary/ receptionist was similarly excellent to deal with. He also promised to waive the pre-payment penally of three payments if we paid the loan off early! Sadly, Matt is no longer manager of the Seaside branch. He has been replaced by one LAURA, who has completely ruined our good relationship with the company. She is abrasive, uncooperative and constantly accusatory, with harassing phone calls, invariably answered by my wife, threatening a $25.00 fine towards the end of our nine-day grace period, -in fact she just accused us of being seven days late with our payment which is utterly false -then denied this when I repeated her accusation back. Having just got off the phone with her, I reluctantly had to be similarly blunt in return. This has by no means been the first time we've had such an experience, so I felt that this deeply negative review is long overdue! We will NEVER deal with this branch again as long as LAURA is in charge and intend to seek alternative -and cheaper- refinancing of our current business-related loan. UPDATE: Later this afternoon we received a phone call from David, a UF manager in Portland who was made aware of this post. He was really polite and helpful and negotiated a due date for the loan for later in the month, which will solve the problem of the late fee. We receive our Social Security the third week of the month and it varies from month to month. All it takes is some courtesy and problem solving, and David was excellent at both. So, much credit and four more stars goes to United Finance's management team.

United finance in seaside is great Laura and Connie go out of their way to help as well as the other employees. I have been a customer for 15 years. Always willing to help. Laura is the best manager they have had in a long time good job!
