PenFed Credit Union in Highland Falls, NY

Excellent credit union..Good rates for CDs and they offer some great reward credit cards too... Fancy me.. :)

I can not put in words how awful it is to work with Penfed. EVERY person they have on the phone tells you something else. I have recorded phone calls of them saying completely different things. Things that effect whether you're covered or not covered. Whether it is the terms you will get, the rate you will get, or what is covered under their gaap insurance. Believe nothing. Unless you talk to 3 people. And than you just hope that 2 out of the 3 are right. I am not sure if its intentional and someone there is pocketing money. Either way only use them if it is an absolute last case resort.
