Excellent service: friendly, quick, effective... what else?

This branch is TERRIBLE. The staff is quite rude. Actually, the senior staff is quite rude. I work in the area and just want to stroll over and make a deposit, but the ATM rarely works- -which is my chief complaint. And, since the staff is so rude it puts me off from going there. I don't have a problem w/other branches And my other bank in the area- -Wells Fargo- -always has a working ATM and the staff is a LOT friendlier than BOA. Get it together Somerville branch.

Sommerville is now in my eyes, the most efficient, cleanest, and helpful branch in my area. A new manager came in and transformed the bank 180 degrees. It is a pleasure to go to Sommerville now, not a hassle.

Excellent service, well behaved staff. If planning to go on Saturday,it is advisable to book an appointment prior to that.All staffs are very cordial and helping.

They close at 4pm Mon-Thurs, 6pm Friday , that's not convenient, on my last visit there was myself and a young lady in front of me in line , with 6 employees in the bank, 2 at desks , doing nothing , and 4 behind the counter discussing how and who might fill in a vacant shift at another BOA location near Somerset ( yes I was privvy to all this info) , after about 4-5 minutes of standing idle a counter person decided to help us. Bullshit waste of my time , if you are going to give low interest on accounts and have crappy hours of operation, the least you can do is service your customers in a timely fashion. To be clear , I am not a BOA account holder, I was cashing a check written to me drawn on BOA, and they always ask "Wouldn't you like to open an account with us ?" No I wouldn't like that , my day actually extends past 4pm quite often , and if you cannot provide service past 4pm in Somerville 4 out of 5 business days then I DO NOT want an account with you.
