Carter Bank & Trust in Louisburg, NC

This bank has no amenities...other than a free checking account. No debit card, no atm, no online account service...this is a bare bones bank. They wouldn't even let me deposit a check signed over to me ny my mother in law..and she was with me! I've never had a problem with discrepancies or anything, but, I am moving on to another bank that participates in modern banking services.

I've been banking with Carter Bank and Trust for six years now. Overall I've been pleased with them. They do have debit cards but no online banking. It's a small town bank, once you get to know the people that work there they generally do whatever they can to help you long as they aren't breaking too many rules. I've tossed around the idea of switching to a more modern bank but I like the people there they know me by name when I walk in the door and know my voice if I call on the phone. They have always provided exceptional customer service. The main thing I love about this bank is the hours of operation this makes doing business there very convenient. How many banks are open from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm.? For what I need this bank is perfect for me.
