Without notification 1st Financial closed my account I had with Aerospace CU since 1989 and kept the $20 balance. The account had been dormant because of my unemployment, but I would have put a couple bucks in there had they notified me. Very rude when I asked them to reopen my account and replace my money. Said everything they did was covered in the fine print. Friends with a lot of former co-workers who banked at Aerospace. No one likes the new owners and are leaving in droves. AVOID

I agree with the other review. Avoid these jokers. We went in to deposit a large inheritance and found they had closed our acct! No call no letter to let us know this. Then we decided to work with them anyway and they were disinterested. The worst part is that we were looking to buy a house and two cars through them over the next year. Poor customer service.

Imagine a credit union run by unqualified, inexperienced bankers. That's much of what you'll find here. Particularly at the St. Charles location, I got consistent misinformation. The worst example was where I deposited $20000+ (insurance settlement) and the bank said they put an indefinite hold (2+ weeks) on the funds at my request. In other words, they claimed I told them I didn't want to access my money. Is that even plausible? A couple of employes (Jamie, etc) were helpful. But management at the St. Charles location is awful. The branch manager Renee refused to apologize for the mishaps. She is dreadful at customer service, but somehow retains her job. Go elsewhere. Just about anywhere else. You'll end up happier.

Went with them because they had the best rates for my auto loan. They did have good rates and an easy setup. However the customer service leaves something to be desired. I spoke to a 'Dan' on the phone who abruptly cut-me off mid-question several times, and was very short and snippy with me when I had questions about setting up my online account. I was barely able to finish a sentence without getting cut off by this individual. In the end, he did help me and answer my question- but the quality of service definitely leaves something to be desired.
