2 days after we closed on our home our mortgage was sold to an investor. They made me come in and sign paper work for the transfer and told me to make my first month's mortgage out to them. I did that, halfway through the month prime-lending calls me say my account is in collections because I never paid. Luckily I keep copies of everything and had already been in constant contact with my new lender. The lender they sold my mortgage too is still processing my account coming on the third month and I cannot pay online. I looked for a local lender when shopping around and wanted to keep my business local, unfortunately prime-lending doesn't care about keeping our business. Would not recommend to anyone who feels the same.
