Ditech Financial in Saint Paul, MN

Aggravation + Frustration = Ditech Just called to find out what I owed to pay the loan in full; they couldn't tell me if the amount due included a late payment. Was transferred to another who couldn't tell me either; she gave me a higher figure of what was still left. So, now I have to wait for some letter about a pay - off request to answer the primary question: Is the late amount included in the total amount due? And now, the new question: Does anyone know how much I owe you? That may be in the letter, too..

Awful...if you don't have anything nice to say, you shouldn't say anything and I should follow that rule. Mendota Heights office is worthless. They call and call and call, leave smart ass messages or say they can help, and when you get back to them, they won't help no matter what your situation is. They have escalated the amount I owe and cannot show me how they got to that number so I can reinstate the loan. I've been here for 20 years and now they want to take my home. I need to contact the attorney generals office and get some help from them. If you can get anyone else to finance you, then do it...anything so you don't have to deal with Crissy or Crystal or Monica or Jasmine at the Mendota Heights office.

They held onto my $5000 for over a year. This place should be closed down. I will never do anything with any bank that has anything to do with Ditech. My loan officers will never do any business with place. There customer service straight up lies.

Wow, I'm not a customer, but I'm glad that this place does not hold my mortgage. I called regarding a business matter and the customer service representative froze when I asked what it was like to work at DiTech. Literally would not answer and did not address why the reviews of DiTech are so negative.

my mortgage was sold to ditech within the first month of acquiring my home and my first phone call to them was very telling in the level of professionalism this company provides. absolutely poor customer service, they speak to you with attitudes and are less than helpful. it's a bit scary to call you mortgage company and they can't tell you how their company comes up with loan to value ratio etc.... I'm highly disappointed already that my loan was transferred to them but hopefully I can pay this down quickly and not have anything crazy happen like some of the other reviewers!
