Wells Fargo Bank in Eden Prairie, MN

I have been banking at primarily the Eden Prairie Wells Fargo for close to 6 years. Before that had TCF Bank and then a small town bank. Wells Fargo has mostly been great to me. They offer more services and service locations than my previous banks, thus making my transactions easier. They do have more fees depending on the services used and who really likes to pay fees but to a degree that is expected considering the wide array of services provided. I always try to prep a bit so that I know almost exactly what I want/need before going in, try to ask productive questions if I don't and that typically has allowed for smooth transactions. It hasn't always been rainbows and lollipops with them but the negative experiences I have had are few and far between and are not significant enough to really detract from using them. They really haven't been all that negative of experiences either, more like slight inconveniences. I don't really give many "Exellent" ratings but I believe my time with WF has been at or above average so they get a "Very Good".

Stay away. The banking representatives have no clue about their products. I signed up for a "free" checking account and after two months the $9 monthly fees started. I went in and talked to another banker and he said the problem was I needed to have three services with them and I only had two. He also said I needed to set up an automatic transfer to my savings. He set me up and after 45 minutes he told me I wouldn't see any more bank charges. That lasted about 3 weeks and another $9 charge hit. I went again and this time they said I needed to keep a minimum balance too. When I first signed up I told them this would be a secondary account and I wasn't planning to keep a lot of money in there. I ended up closing the account and they would not refund the $9 even though their representative assured me there would be any charges. Terrible customer service!

Worst bank ever!!! Worst customer service. Hang up on me after you answer a few questions.. like you were done with this phone call on your own. Wow!!

When one entrusts a bank with one's money, flawless, precise service is a minimum expectation. Sadly, our world nor this bank is perfect; however this branch employs Andrea Kulichenko who may be perfect. And she went a long way to making my stay here in Eden Prairie memorable and pleasant. 5 stars to Andrea.

Customer service is horrible and they always seem to screw up peoples accounts... I recommend finding a different banking option but that is my opinion...
