Just as bad as the big banks if not worse! They promise when you get an account that you can opt out of being able to over draft your account. Then supposedly according to them you are sent a letter to confirm not being able to over draft, if you do not reply they start pounding you with fees. Then they are unable to explain themselves. According to one of there branch managers, "You received a letter stating that you were eligible for the overdraft program (like it's some sort of honor) you did not respond with a decline so the program was activated". Good thing i checked my account before I transferred my money out of my paypal account. I have decided instead of paying these unjust fees I am going to spend 3x as much money making sure they lose business.

Currently waiting in the lobby for an hour (and counting...) now to open an acct. The agents does not even know who is next in line, so rely on the customers to know the order, this is a potential customer disatisfier. This is my second time in the 12 mile branch and am not very impressed with the customer service. Extremely poor if compared to msu credit union.

Be aware if you go into a negative balance they will clear the largest checks first bouncing as many smaller checks as possible to get the $30 fee each!
