TCF Bank in Livonia, MI

Nice ATM! Love the spacious layout compared to the one on Livonia.

terrible drive through atm. just terrible. I use tcf about 10 times per month and I have tons of pics with people opening their doors and getting out of the car to use the stupid atm. and that's true for all their branches not just this particular one

Awful bank. Nice people, but terrible hours and ATM. Almost impossible to access the drive through ATM via a car, and they keep changing their hours which don't match what the site says. They apparently close at 5 every day except Friday which is awful, I can only ever make it their Friday. Plus, they stopped being open Sunday. Pass on TCF. App sucks too.

They do funny things with deposits by removing them at night. Hours have been cut, so most 9-5 workers cant access the branches but one or two days a week. App does not have many now common features such as e-Deposit. App, email and texting alerts were made to have 24 hr delays on sending(this was by design per speaking with their IT guy. (fee generation tactic I assume) Online losses that days actives at midnight till 5/6 am so if you work at night you completely limited banking. They have messed up my deposits on several occasions and have denied random payments to my utility companies and other monthly payment because their 3rd party fraud department felt my charges were fraudulent tho they have been the same amount on same days every month for the last few years..lol. When at the counter, if your account is ever going to be or is in the negative due to pending and or posted transactions they never will let you know unless you ask about any pending fees that are not shown on any of the online services or apps. Recently I have been getting international charges for buying things that ship from outside the US with out notice.. Hours are never posted correctly or conspicuously for holidays. Coin machine miss counts on the regular. Branch phone numbers are no longer published. When I started with this bank a several years ago I would brag about their service but for new years my resolution is to close my account and move on.

Vicky was extremely helpful in taking care of our issue. When we were in a rush due to other peoples' mistakes, she spent more time than I'd care to admit, filling out paperwork and calling other branches to authorize things when the local person wasn't available.
