Astera Credit Union - W. Saginaw Hwy. in Lansing, MI

Took my daughter here to open a checking account. We are the only customers here - but we are waiting for service an excessive amount of time. Observations: counter is not designed for time efficiency, there is a theater area in the bank lobby, business cards are thick/expensive like credit cards, getting help takes too long. This begs the question: who is paying for these amenities (although service is poor)? No doubt it comes out of the pockets of customers. I wonder if the theater area is there to entertain customers who are waiting excessively.
