$28 daily overdraft fee!! I had an old account I have not used since i got married, kinda forgot about it. Well because it was dormant TCF started charging me a $10 monthly fee. TCF drained the account to negative over the past year. I got a notice in the mail no less than 10 days after the account went negative notifying me I owed them $28 a day until i could afford to pay them off to close my account already at a negative $300 from their daily fees. I was shocked. I called customer service in illinois, I mentioned Chase has my business now and they hung up on me! after hours on the phone and 2 trips to a tcf branch I got my account closed, only after I had to pay them something just to make them go away. Its my fault for giving them the opportunity to screw me, or is it? you be the judge. CONSUMER BEWARE!! and to the nice girls and managers that work hard at this farmington branch, you deserve better. I cant imagine having to clean up messes like this daily because tcf corporate employees are rude and have no tact. go find an employer that appreciates you.

I have been operating a small business at the Farmington branch for a number of years now, and have recently opened a second business account. Their staff is friendly and helpful. They fully assist me in answering any questions that I may have, and now both of my businesses are doing well. While they may not give me the full red carpet treatment of the CEO of a large corporation, I don't expect that. I expect personalized service that meets and exceeds my needs; and, that's what I receive.
