Bank of America Financial Center in Laurel, MD

WORST bank location EVER the Laurel location is ridiculous there is always a line out the door never more than 2-3 tellers even during high traffic times but there are plenty of employees usually standing around or walking around with nothing to do the wait to even get to a teller is ALWAYS at least a half hour the drive thru is rarely open. Never have this problem with any other bank in the area just this one

They claim to have a promotion if you open an account there for 3 months and after 3 months they don't remember, and i couldn't never get the manager on the phone to talk to. I'm closing my account

I have had accounts with Bank of America for years and they keep getting better and better. Customer service is fantastic - someone is always at the door to greet you and ask what your needs are - that way you don't wait in a line only to find out that you are in the wrong line. Many times even the clerk at the door can take care of your issue. I feel secure and safe because they have a guard at the door during business hours. I pay no service fees because I can meet one of the ways in which they will waive the service fee, for instance, I have a monthly automatic transfer of $25.00 from my checking account to my savings account and this causes the service fee to be waived. BOA far exceeds any other bank in the technology arena such as online banking and mobile banking.

Although the staff was pleasant and prepared to handle the multi-ethnic demographic of their customer in this area, $8 to cash a check from Bank of America is ridiculous! The normal fee is $6 which is still high. This location is charging poorer people $2 more than other Bank of America branches for a basic transaction. Completely unfair.

I was so pleased with Mrs. Ify's customer service. The best customer service I've ever received hands down at ANY bank. Very knowledgeable, she took her time to explain every question my sister in law and I had. Execellent customer service, she was extremely patient with us. I feel comfortable with my decision of switching my bank of 12 years and opening up with BOA because of her. I even opened a credit card with her and I never EVER wanted to open another credit card after the one I already have but I believe a great decision was made that day with her. I'm giving this location 5 stars because of the type of professional they chose to hire. When you hire amazing people like Mrs. Ify to represent your business you can only imagine the best of that business/company. Mrs. Ify's thank you so much! You are valued and appreciated for your great work ethics.
