My girlfriend recently opened an account so she could deposit checks and access money locally. Account setup at the branch was a breeze, and she received checks no problem. They have a mixed savings and checking which provides a little bit of interest but acts like a usual checking account. Overall very good experience. Of note, they are one of only a small handful of credit unions that just living in the Metro-Boston area gives you membership eligibility. Many others are more restrictive. They are also part of the CO-OP ATM network which has ATM's all over the world and continues to grow.

Amazing company; i had a problem with paperwork on a mortgage and the team at US Alliance Federal Credit Union were truly fabulous in solving the problem - they were proactive, creative & communicated with me throughout the challenge. Not the kind of service one would ever get - or even expect to get- from your usual bank. KUDOS!!!!

Great Bank - I transferred from Bank of America and it has been refreshing! I love the fact that anyone in MA can join - most credit unions are pretty closed. Just applied for a car loan this week and got a smoking rate!

People are great, you get two free checkbooks, you can use any ATM's for free, and a great mobile deposit app.
