Seriously, terrible experience. I'd been with Bank of the West for YEARS, and recently moved to the east coast. I decided to stay with them because I'd had a decent experience so far. It turns out, that's mostly because I didn't have to deal with them very often. One day, two payments were accidentally sent to my BOW account, and overdrafted. THAT DAY, I call and explain to SEVERAL people that it was a mistake and I would make a deposit that day, asking them to rescind the fees. EVERYONE passes the buck, saying "that's impossible, you'll have to talk to X." So, as I'm waiting for return calls from the people I apparently needed to talk to and generally having a life, BOW continues to assess me MORE fees each day it's not resolved. Mind you, I'd declined the debit card overdraft protection already. Love your customer service and the way you truly value loyalty, BOW. I'll be happy to never deal with you again.

I love Bank of the West, but I won't be back to this location! 1 teller trying to help lobby & drive through. I spent 15 minutes in drive through only to have her help the other lane who arrived well after me! How hard is it to deposit a check? Feeling frustrated & annoyed!

Changing banks can be quite a headache for a business, but Michael and his staff at Bank of the West made the process as easy as possible for a smooth transition, even going the extra mile for us making sure things were up and running in time for processing payroll. It was a pleasure working with Michael and I would recommend him to anyone looking for help in the banking world.
