My dad has an account here and the people are very nice and friendly.

I will come to Wells Fargo probably one more time, and hopefully it will be my very last. Had my account back when it was Wachovia. My dad set it up for me 7 years ago. Since Wells Fargo has taken over, quality of customer service and customer care has slowly fallen. I spend twice as long on the phone to resolve issues, and half of the time, not getting an outcome I want. The people who answer no longer know what they are doing or how to resolve my issues. If i'm lucky, I get a good rep that is actually experienced and knows what to do right away--that's how Wachovia used to be. Being one of the only two branches in the KS/MO area pretty much... I came here from the Missouri side. Really should have switched banks, but tried to stay Wells Fargo-loyal. Anyway, that will change quickly. The store manager had the nerve to question me what makes me so busy that I couldn't have come in sooner to resolve an issue I had before. Anyway, I told them, I live on the Missouri side and have few reasons to come to the KS side--30 minutes away (not convenient)... and anyone who lives in this area knows the traffic between downtown KC and here is to be avoided (even tellers at Wells Fargo have voiced this customer discomfort with me)... and when I'm actually available, it is after their business hours. I have a child, work a lot, a full time student.. everything on the missouri side.. and often travel. I call over the phone and OFTEN they can't solve my issues. I have come in branch before and gotten negative results before: based on them not compensating me/keeping record of their promotions/making it difficult for me to redeem my reward (promises to me as their customer when I did something for them). That's frustrating. After an hour of trying to resolve a small issue (with my 3 year old son sitting there too), little was done to help me. I know more could have been done because one of the last times I came in, a branch manager was able to quickly help me out with a similar issue, and it gave me hope. That manager has been replaced, and instead, I am being lowly questioned by a manager about why I am so busy??? and it took me a while to resolve something I feel has been wronged me... and the same result offered as the beginning of our session. My feeling was a whole hour wasted of both mine and his... I really planned to do a lot more while I was on the Kansas side, like pick up a repaired piece of jewelry at the mall across the street, but the appointment was 2x as long as expected.. and instead, I tried to beat the traffic to an appointment I have on the missouri side. and I will need to go back to Kansas side again in the next two days. I can't believe how uninformed and inconsiderate my interaction was. Needless to say, in the near future when I need to open business accounts, take out loans, etc I will not be going to this bank. I absolutely will not be considering this bank when I take out a mortgage and other important financial decisions in my future. I wish I hadn't even opened my credit card with them because I want to branch away from them completely due to the lack of compassion. Just remember this: Sprint was once one of the top in the telecommunications. Why did they go through their biggest struggle? Crapping on their loyal customers. Got too comfortable, not caring about their customer service. You lost me Wells Fargo.
