I worked with Mike Dote (20 + years experience) and Jaylen at Platinum Home Mortgage Corporation. They were both very professional and kept lines of communication open. I always knew where I was at in the process and they were always honest & courteous with me... whether I liked their answer or not. Either way, they helped me achieve my ultimate goal in buying my first home! Mike is very knowledgeable and in the beginning also fought for my business. So I was looking to get a home loan for 1st time homeowner. My friend recommended me to Platinum because of her great experience. So I called and left a message for this guy Michael Dote. Days went by with no call back. So one night my friend and I were out and we actually ran into him at a bar. He seemed nice and and apologized that he never received my message. I told him no worries and we could set something up then. He said he was busy with his girlfriend and didn't want to talk business. He said to call him Monday. Well while we were there, we saw him knocking back shots with his girlfriend. At one point his girlfriend walked up to me and told me to stay away from her boyfriend. She was very rude and confrontational. I asked her to calm down and she got even more rude. Two of her friends walked over and were cussing at me, telling her not to worry about me because I'm fat. I was humiliated and Michael just stood there laughing. I understand these people were not at work and they were just trying to chill out and have fun. But I would NEVER do business with this man.
