Wow!!! You know in life, it has ups downs lefts and right and boy I have been on all of them. I guess I have to introduce myself to tell a story of who I am and what I was. As for most people the early 2000’s were great, money a plenty. My Wife and I were starting our young Family, I had a great job, and we had purchased a 500,000 dollar house! We had plenty of income, life was awesome! Many of you reading this review remember these times. Times that it seemed like just one big party with no clear end. Boy were we wrong, the bottom did fall out and I like most people living on the high horse fell and fell hard. I was laid off, the economy in southwest Florida was at Rock bottom and I took the last remaining savings my wife and I had and moved back to Chicago area hoping that the strength of the city would help through the recession. I was right and it worked out I was able to get back on our feet but never to the height of pre 2007 but I’m still climbing and I am not going to stop any time soon. As my family moved forward instilling the building block of a solid foundation one aspect of our lives still eluded us. That was the purchase of a HOME for my family. We had rented a house for years now and my lovely wife always pushing me to be a stronger man would remind me that we needed our own HOME. In the summer of 2009 I met a man that at the time neither of us would have thought would just be more that a customer to me. I worked at a local Tractor dealership and this guy just needed to get some work done on his tractor. Fast talking and sounded smart he gave me his phone number and said anytime you want to hang out let me know lets go out. Gus and I never went out during that time but I kept his number and one day I called him to ask hey what do I need to do to buy a house and he tells me well first we need to see how bad of shape you’re in. (It was bad 480 credit score) It was bad he came back to me and said look its bad. Folks when the bottom fell out I let it Fall I no longer cared about my credit score, creditors it just didn’t care but this was going to be a new leaf a new chapter in the life of mine. So I started down the pain full task of fixing a very broken credit file of mine and started to correct it with the advice of Mr. Cho and almost a year to the date of that advice I called Gus again and said I followed and did what you told me and guess what now I’m up to a 620 what can we do. He tells me Robert go and pick out a house. Little did he know that my wife picked a fix me upper that required a 203K loan…….. That was just crazy I wanted to give up on it but my wife and Gus didn’t and needless to say we moved into our home in June of this year and it has been amazing. If it were not for some advice from Gus back in 2013 I would have never gotten our home yet. In the End there our people in this world that leave a special mark on your soul and Gus has left one on mine I owe him a debt of gratitude and thanks for it was not for his work my Family would not have their Home.
